The exhibit at the park would gallery was very nice. I had never been there before and I really enjoyed the space that it is. All the natural light coming through the windows makes it nice to see the art work and the way the walls are set up it makes it easy for natural light to almost get to every piece of work. One thing I didn't like about the walls though is that it seems like if there were to be a lot of people in there at once it would be a nightmare get around. Unfortunately I was the only one there when I went so I can't assess how it really would be. The works in the show were very nice I liked the theme of the landscapes around Toledo and how you could recognize them. Overall I feel as if it is a nice gallery but, just a little to small for how the walls are set up.

For the Juried show we should use a numbering system that goes in a rising order from first piece received to last piece received, yet we should put a number in front of it so that when people see whats picked its harder for them to recognize others works. (1201, 1202, 1203...). Or another way to go about it would be to place a letter in the front indicating if it Photography P or Drawing D, or any other form of art work. (P001, D001,). This would be different than a museum because they most likely keep track of the date received along with month and a lot more information in there inventory numbers. Here is an example of an inventory Form. Artist should keep track of dates when to drop off there piece and when they should know if it got into the exhibit. They should also know how it is being stored and displayed if it should get into the show.

A condition report shows the condition of a piece when it is received. You draw a picture and show where there are any scratches or marks on the frame or the piece that should not be there. Make note of chips and scratches in the glass. These are so that the artist knows that the gallery did not damage the piece but, it was received that way. Here is an example of a Condition Report.

I would say that the amount of people that showed up to the reception was about 200 or so.  More or less it was an older crowd of people, a lot of teachers and some arts students but not really any students I did not recognize. Generally the mood of the reception was pretty good, people seemed to enjoy themselves and have a good time. No one seemed disappointed with anything overall it was a success.

The only problem I saw was when people were congregating around the food it created a choke point and everyone got stuck there speaking to one another. Possibly moving the food further down the hall or to the other side of the hall in front of the office might work better. '
